Carlos Sebastiá

(Castellon – 1975)

Carlos Sebastiá, graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and with a master's degree in Fine Arts from the University of London. His work involves a pictorial reflection on the role of oblivion as a distorting element, understanding identity as the solidification of an instant or state of permanence, and demonstrating how our mind generates spaces where the dream mixes with the subjectivation of reality to reproduce a new state of things.

The artist is distinguished by an extensive international career in countries such as: Austria, the United Kingdom and China, where he obtained a residential scholarship in the city of Shanghai by the Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with The International Arts and Culture Group (TIAC). As well as having works in the funds of the DKV, Juan José Castellano Comenge collections and in the permanent collection of the UPV. In addition to his intense participation in fairs both nationally and internationally.
