Press release:
Next July 7, at 7:00 p.m., Shiras Gallery invites you to toast together in the presentation of 'TANGRAM', a collective exhibition that aims to make visible the latest works of our artists on the occasion of the end of the season.
The exhibition will feature the latest works by some of the artists represented by the gallery, such as: Miquel Navarro, who presents a very unique work in aluminum 'Ciudad Insulator' recently made and unpublished. Horacio Silva, who participates with a very special work from his series Shangri-La, not exhibited until now. And the artist Rosa Torres, with an iconic piece in oil on canvas from her series 'Viveros'.
Added to the exhibition are the works of renowned artists such as Toño Barreiro and Cristina Gamón, who have just arrived from Basel after participating in the Volta Basel fair and who will present two unpublished pieces from their latest projects for this occasion. Along with the creations of the artists: Jens Gussek, Nuria Rodríguez, Ricardo Escavy, Carlos Sebastiá, Agustín Serisuelo, who will show various pieces from their recent projects.
The show will also feature high-profile artists, including the sculptor Daniel Schweitzer with his work 'Disfiguration', a unique piece made of iron that reflects on the dematerialization of the body. Samuel Nieto with his work 'Daat', whose study of the line shows us an analysis of chaos and order. And, the two new additions to Shiras, the Turkish artist Ibrahim Erdogan with two glass sculptures made expressly for the occasion. And the young artist Sergio Rocafort, who participates with an unpublished work where he investigates the limits of painting. 'TANGRAM' is an entire intergenerational show where different languages and styles come together like a puzzle to hatch in the form of color and expression; thus giving all art lovers, collectors and the Valencian public in general the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of national art scene.
This exhibition can be visited at Shiras Galería until September 17, from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays by appointment.
